Best Family Beaches

Anyone who has been to a good number of beaches knows that beaches can differ drastically from one another. There are some beaches that may be perfect for relaxing at as an adult that children would absolutely hate. Below is a brief list of some of the best family beaches that are sure to satisfy both parents and children alike.

Hawaii's Beaches
Hawaii has some of the most family friendly beaches in the world. With warm water and many bays and harbors there is a vast quantity of beaches with calm water. Activities range from snorkeling and swimming to just playing in the sand. Many of the beaches in Hawaii also offer activities such as surfing lessons which is a great way to keep children entertained and active while you work on your tan.

California's Beaches
California's coast is littered with family accommodating beaches. Many of California's beaches are located near to cities offering many other attractions as well. Another nice aspect of California beaches is that many of them have parks with play structures for children. San Diego California is also known as having some of the world's widest beaches offering tons of space for children to run around and play games.

Florida's Beaches
Florida's beaches are also a great place to take a family. Ft. Lauderdale in particular is well known to be accommodating to families due to the large number of resorts there that cater to families by offering children's clubs as well as play structures on or near the beach. Ft. Lauderdale's beaches are also known to be very clean and the water temperature is nice year round. If you need a break from the beach while in Florida there are tons of activities only a short distance away such as Disney World or an everglades tour.
