You shouldn’t get fooled by the name of this resort, because it is not a hot and sunny one, but a popular winter destination. However there are many other things to do there, not just skiing, so learn extra 5 reasons we should go to Sun Valley Neighborhood (Idaho).

Sleigh riding
Many people view a sleigh ride as a very romantic thing to do, and most of them prefer the ride in the evening. Tickets for round trips and private trips are also available and you should consider them if you want some extra time just for you and your partner. During summer, the sleigh is replaced by a wagon.

Swimming
The resort is opened in summer as well, and swimming is a popular activity in the hot season. There are 3 swimming pools  in the resort, and the guests have unlimited access to them. If you need swimming lessons, go to the Olympic Pool. This pool features 2 lanes for training.

Horseback riding
The horseback riding sessions last either 1 hour or 1 hour and a half. The tours are guided and take place of the Dollar Mountain. To participate in a horse riding session, you must book a spot and be at the stables some 20 minutes prior to the ride.

Ice skating
The ice skating rink is an outdoor one and as such it offers amazing views of the surrounding area. If you’re lucky, you might even see world famous ice skaters putting on a show, get an autograph, or even learn a few ice skating tricks. The ice skating shows happen in summer.

Hiking
should the weather allow it, hiking is a great activity during the warmer months. There are no cars on the trails, and if you prefer running or jogging, feel free to run as much as you can.
